(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this pot.It is a thin stainless steel; as would be expected from the price.I have used the steamer insert several times and am very pleased with it.There is a tight seal so the veggies steam up nicely.I haven't used the double-boiler part yet, but it looks like it will work great for melting chocolate.So, if you are looking for an inexpensive steamer; this is a good pot to go with.But, if you are looking for a restaurant quality steamer, then this isn't that.
