(More customer reviews)The insert for this only goes down about half-way, which means you have to put an insane amount of water in the pot in order to use it -- meaning, of course, that it takes a very long time to start boiling.
Added 7/21/2010: After numerous comments to my post, let me clarify. I purchased this with the intent of using it to cook pasta -- not to steam. The basket only goes down about half-way, which make this a GREAT steamer -- but a HORRIBLE pasta cooker (which, according to the title, this pot is also useful for). Had they included two baskets (one half-size and one full-size) it would have been a much more useful product. Judging by the photo, the basket is full-size -- upon receipt however, it was not. Hope this clears up my earlier review.
