However, I thought it was made in America, because this is an American company and it is not.The company does sound enviromentally friendly. The only other thing that bothers me just a bit is that the lid for the spout does not open wide enough to allow me to fill the kettle easily.The handle is comfortable, no splashing when pouring and the whistle is pleasantly audible.Reasonably priced and nice quality.
